THE FEEL
House Springs is one of the undiscovered gems of the area, and likely to become more attractive to families over time. There is a mix of new home sites, older homes, farms, and trailer, with the majority of residents are middle aged and married with children.
HISTORY
House Springs was named for Adam House, who settled in the area around 1795 and was killed near a spring by Native Americans.

Located just off Gravois Road, at the intersection with Routes MM and W, House Springs is approximately a 45-minute drive from downtown St. Louis.

German heritage runs deep in House Springs followed by lots of entertainment.
ENTERTAINMENT
Its German Cultural Society hosts its outdoor events, like Oktoberfest, at a neighborhood park, Donau Park. The House Springs Lions Club is also active in the neighborhood, participating and leading several community events and fundraisers.

House Springs is part of the Northwest RI School District. Catholic school, Our Lady Queen of Peace is also in the neighborhood.
PARKS & REC
Rockford Beach | Park features a waterfall and river used for fishing, swimming and boating. There are also picnic sites with tables, grills, and a volleyball court.
Deer Creek Golf and Country Club | A 30,000 square foot club house with deli, three bars, banquet and cathedral rooms, this club is perfect for weddings, corporate events, and golf outings. With 200 acres of wooded rolling hills, the golf course is well designed and challenging.
