HISTORY
Long before the coming of the Kennedy's Masheks, Tomeks, Duncans or Howells, the prairie hawks came to roost in a point of woods where timber left off and open, rolling hills began. Quite naturally, the area came to be known as hawk's point, then the Hawk Point Community and finally the town of Hawk Point, now the City of Hawk Point.
